Hazem completed his undergraduate studies at the University of the Fraser Valley  and his Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba. Throughout his time in law school, he participated in various extracurricular activities, working with numerous organizations, including the Low Entropy Foundation, Pro Bono Students Canada, and the Public Interest Law Centre. While working with Pro Bono Students Canada and the Public Interest Law Centre, he focused on topics and areas of law that can assist marginalized people to receive better access to justice. These areas included aboriginal law, criminal law, and human rights law.

Hazem’s  area of practice is Civil Litigation and Family Law.
