Jenny was born in Calgary and raised in Toronto, Ontario. She attended and graduated from the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton with a Bachelor of Arts Hon in Economics and Psychology.

She attended Queen’s Law School graduating with an LLB in 1987. She articled in Kingston and began practicing law in Kingston in 1989.

Jenny has practiced law in 7 jurisdictions from coast to coast. Her main areas of practice are criminal, family and mental health. She is trained in collaborative law and mediation. Her true passion is restorative justice.

When not at home with her 2 children, she spends her time doing yoga or outside running, hiking and biking. She is a lover of the arts from ballet to opera. She is actively involved in her community with and politics.

Jenny is a member of the CBA, the Trial Lawyers Association of BC, the Association of Legal Aid Lawyers, the Criminal Lawyers Association and the Canadian Prison Lawyers Association.
